EL06 | SenSwi™ | CamSwi™ -How to Choose the Right Model?
BEM manufactures three types of motion sensor based products to suit everyone's needs and budget. BEM® EL06 is the simplest, lowest cost product that can be used as an energy saving controller to automatically switch ON lights as you walk by. Though the EL06 can be used to detect trespassers on your property and activate an alarm, we recommend the IoT enabled models namely the BEM® SenSwi™ or the BEM® CamSwi™ for such a need to ensure that your home and loved ones stay safe, even when you’re not physically there to protect them yourself. Whenever a trespasser is detected, the SenSwi or CamSwi will not only signal the alarm to go off, but you will also receive a notification or call on your smart phone letting you know of the activity. With the SenSwi or CamSwi models, you also have an ability to remotely switch ON or OFF any electrical appliance lying at home when you are out of town. In addition to the features offered by the SenSwi, the topmost model - CamSwi can capture images and dispatch the same through email too.

BEM® EL06 is an InfraRed (PIR) motion sensor that activates an internal Relay on motion detection to switch ON any externally connected 230 Volt AC Load of upto 1200 W rating.
Typical applications could be as (a) an energy saving controller to switch ON a lamp for a preset duration in the parking area/ corridor, or (b) as a surveillance device to detect intruders/ trespassers on your property. Easy to install and use.
BEM® SenSwi™ is a combination of two IoT enabled / Wi-Fi based devices: (a) Motion Sensor with Light Sensor, and (b) Switch, both packaged in a single housing.
Level up your smart home. BEM® SenSwi™ can operate as a Smart alarm sensor that detects changes in an environment, particularly movement. If a door opens or someone walks by, for instance, the sensor will signal an alarm to go off, and you will instantly receive a notification or call on your smart phone letting you know of the activity. This ensures your home and loved ones stay safe, even when you’re not physically there to protect them yourself. BEM® SenSwi™ has a highly responsive motion-sensitive pyroelectric detector that can catch burglars.
The SenSwi™ can operate in any one of the three modes: (1) Standalone Mode. (2) Local Wi-Fi Mode, or (3) World-Wide Internet Mode. For Mode 3, SenSwi™ is designed to connect with Adafruit IO’s MQTT Broker (Server) through the internet.
In the latter two modes, the Sensor and the Switch could be configured to operate independently or they could be linked together.
BEM® CamSwi™ is a combination of two Smart IoT (Internet of Things) enabled devices: (1) Motion Sensor with Light Sensor, Camera and Flash and (2) Switch, all Wi-Fi based and packaged in a single housing, that can be monitored and controlled, respectively, remotely within the Wi-Fi range or with internet connectivity even beyond (from any part of the world!). Image captured by the Camera gets automatically dispatched through email.
BEM® CamSwi™ provides privacy, security, and peace of mind. Its highly responsive motion-sensitive pyroelectric sensor detects burglars while the camera captures an image that is attached and dispatched with an email. Whether you’re in your bedroom or out of town, receive a notification or a call on your smart phone the moment our sensor detects motion.
The CamSwi™ can operate in any one of the three modes: (1) Standalone Mode. (2) Local Wi-Fi Mode, or (3) World-Wide Internet Mode.
In the latter two modes, the Camera is always linked to the Motion Sensor, and captures image whenever motion gets detected. Users can also capture an image by triggering the camera directly. For Mode 3, CamSwi™ is designed to connect with Adafruit IO’s MQTT Broker (Server) through the internet.
