SenSwi^™- IoT enabled Smart Wi-Fi Motion Sensor and Switch

BEM^® SenSwi^™ is a combination of two IoT (Internet of Things) enabled devices: (a) Smart Motion Sensor with Light Sensor, and (b) Smart Switch, both Wi-Fi based and packaged in a single housing, that can be monitored and controlled, respectively, remotely within the Wi-Fi range or with internet connectivity even beyond (from any part of the world!).

Level up your smart home. BEM^® SenSwi^™ works as a smart alarm sensor to detect changes in an environment particularly movement. If a door opens or someone walks by, for instance, the sensor will signal an alarm to go ON and send you a Notification or give you a Call on your Smartphone to let you know of the activity. This ensures that your home and loved ones stay safe even when you are not physically there to protect them yourself. The highly responsive motion-sensitive pyroelectric detector works efficiently day and night to help you catch unwanted guests. BEM^® SenSwi^™ provides privacy, security, and peace of mind.

The SenSwi^™ is designed to operate in three different modes depending on the availability of a Wi-Fi router with an internet connection near the installation point and an Android smartphone with the user:

1. Standalone Mode: Users not having a smartphone, router or internet, can operate the SenSwi^™ as a standalone device with minimal features.
2. Local Wi-Fi Mode: Users not having a router can use their smartphone to operate and monitor the SenSwi^™ from within its Wi-Fi range.
3. World-Wide Internet Mode: The features of SenSwi^™ can be best tapped if a User has a Wi-Fi router with internet connectivity and an Android smartphone with the suggested free Apps installed. For operation beyond the Wi-Fi router’s antenna range, SenSwi^™ is designed to connect with Adafruit IO’s MQTT Broker (Server) through the internet.

In the local Wi-Fi mode and the World-Wide Internet modes, the Sensor and the Switch could be configured to operate independently or they could be linked together. In the de-linked mode the switch can be used to remotely operate any electrical appliance at home even when you are out of town
